Integrated mine digitalization
Connect plans, people, equipment and data in one digital system across the whole operation.

About us
MineBook is made by engineers who have worked on benches, in blast crews and in site offices. We are building the workspace we wanted to have on every shift.

Our story
MineBook began as the experimental project of our founder, Anjana Rodrigo, built to see if one simple workspace could hold everything that happens on a mining shift. Colleagues have supported it from the start.
We had seen the same problem at quarries and mines: the plan lives in one place, field notes in another, and the real picture of a shift is pieced together at the end of the day from notebooks, spreadsheets and messages.
To make sure it works the way real operations do, graduates, undergraduates and mining engineers who studied at the Department of Earth Resources Engineering, University of Moratuwa help us test and fine-tune the app. Their field and academic experience shapes every release.
What started as an experiment is now MineBook (Private) Limited: one place where a shift is planned, recorded, closed and handed over, with the engineering behind it close at hand.
Our vision
Our vision is to build the next generation of integrated mine digitalization, helping every mine run better. We aim to lead mining into a digital future, giving operations the digital solutions they need to make better decisions, while we continue researching the mining field.

Connect plans, people, equipment and data in one digital system across the whole operation.
Give every engineer and manager clear, reliable information to act on while the shift is still running.
Keep researching the mining field so MineBook grows with new methods, technology and needs.
Founder
Founder · Mining Engineering
MineBook is Anjana’s experimental project, supported by colleagues. Anjana started it to bring mining engineering thinking to the way shifts are run and recorded, so that every engineer and supervisor works from the same, reliable picture of the operation.
Our team
A mine runs on many kinds of expertise, so MineBook is built by a team that reflects that.
The core of the team. Mainly graduates of the Department of Earth Resources Engineering, University of Moratuwa, who help fine-tune MineBook with pit, planning and drill-and-blast experience.
Make sure geology, rock types and material classes are recorded the way they are used in the field.
Bring experience in haul roads, benches, stockpiles and site infrastructure.
Shape how survey data, volumes and drawings connect to what happened on each shift.
Turn all of this into a fast, secure workspace that runs in the browser.
What we believe
Every screen is designed around how a shift really runs, from the pre-shift briefing to the handover.
Records are never quietly deleted. Changes are voided with a reason, so the history of every shift stays clear.
Any engineer can sign up and start, from a single quarry to a larger mine. No sales call needed.
