1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and MineBook (Private) Limited (“MineBook”). By creating an account or using MineBook you accept these terms and our Privacy policy. If you use MineBook for a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate information when you sign up.
- Keep your password and Google account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us straight away at security@minebook.lk if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Your data
You own the data you put into MineBook. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you. You can export your records at any time using the CSV and drawing exports.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to enter any personal data about workers or other people.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break any law of Sri Lanka or any other applicable law.
- Try to access other users’ data or bypass security or access controls.
- Upload malware, or overload, scan or attack the service.
- Resell or copy MineBook without our written permission.
5. Engineering and safety responsibility
MineBook is a record-keeping and planning tool. It does not replace professional engineering judgement or your site’s safety process.
- A MineBook blast record or released blast design is not a blasting permit, clearance or safety authorisation.
- Designs, calculations and KPIs depend on the data you enter. You are responsible for checking them before acting on them.
- You remain responsible for complying with mining, explosives and workplace safety laws.
6. Fees
If we introduce paid plans, we will show prices clearly and tell you before you are charged. Enterprise licences are covered by a separate written agreement.
7. Service availability
We work hard to keep MineBook available and secure, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update or change features. We will give notice of any significant change that affects how you use MineBook.
8. Closing your account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable. After closure, your data is handled as described in our Privacy policy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by the laws of Sri Lanka, MineBook is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost production or lost profits, or for decisions made using data in the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Sri Lanka.
